It’s Not a Crime to Be Stupid
But for some reason the New Jersey social services Nazis think so.
A pair of stupid parents in Holland Township, N.J., named one of their kids after Adolph Hitler and another one after the Aryan Nation. Young Adolph and his sisters were confiscated by the N.J. Division of Youth and Family Services.
From the LehighValleyLive:
[Police chief] Van Gilson said he didn’t know why the children were taken or who had custody. He said his department received no reports of abuse or negligence.
The children’s father, Heath Campbell, reached Tuesday evening at a relative’s home, first declined comment and later said the children were not removed.
The Division of Youth and Family Services would not confirm or deny the report.
A spokeswoman said the division doesn’t comment on specific families.
The chief said the children were removed last week. He said a township officer was present.
“Whatever children were at the home were taken,” the chief said.
Of course the social services gestapo won’t comment on the abduction, protecting family privacy don’t you know. They can march in your home and take your kids, and then not tell anyone anything about it.
Granted the parents are morons, but naming your children stupid names is not a crime. I mean no one arrested Frank Zappa for naming his kids Moon Unit and Dweezil.
And speaking of stupid names how about the following? Jermain Jackson’s son Jermajesty, Jason Lee’s son Pilot Inspektor, Jonathan Davis’ son Pirate, Gwyneth (also pretty dumb) Paltrow’s daughter Apple, Rob Morrow’s daughter Tu Morrow, and Toni Braxton’s sons Denim and Diesel. (See dopey names here.)
The point here is not stupid kids names. The point is since when does the state have an interest in what name parents stick on a kid? What compelling interest is there for the state to remove these children from their home, from their parents, especially without a single report of any kind of abuse?
Would N.J. nannies rush in and grab kids named Pol Pot, Mao, Sadaam Hussein? How about Barry Hussein?
