The Stupidist Woman in Congress…

Posted in: News,Politics | February 26th, 2010 | No Comments »

Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., that is:

I’ve seen the good Congresswoman in action, and she is truly, even appallingly stupid.

Throw them all out.

Another Kennedy Gone…

Posted in: News,Politics | February 12th, 2010 | No Comments »

From public life that is.

From The Politico:

Rhode Island Democratic Rep. Patrick Kennedy, the son of the late Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, will announce on Friday that he is retiring, according to Democratic insiders.

Kennedy, 42, was first elected to the House in 1994. His departure will leave Congress without a Kennedy for the first time since 1962, when his father was elected to the Senate seat held previously by his uncle, John F. Kennedy.

Now, if only everyone with a Clinton or Bush last name would drop out of public life we could be done with these stupid political dynasties.

Was The Obama Born in the U.S. of A.?

Posted in: News,Politics | February 7th, 2010 | No Comments »

I’ve been writing this blogs for nearly three years now. Except for comments from relatives or friends, I seldom hear from my dozen or so readers. Today, after more than a 1000 post in three years I received a comment, for which I’m grateful, don’t get me wrong.

But the interesting thing to me is the topic that attracted a comment: the birth of The Obama, an issue that consumes a great deal of attention among those of us on the right side of the political spectrum. The fact that his birth records in Hawaii (as well as his college records) have been sealed only adds to the mystery and conspiracy theories.

The issue is important in that only natural born citizens may become president of the United States, according to the U.S. Constitution. If The Obama was not, in fact, born in Hawaii, or anywhere else in the U.S. of A, then he is not qualified to be president.

There apparently is a “certification of live birth,” seen below, that shows The Obama’s mom Stanley Ann Dunham gave birth in Hawaii to a son at 7:24 p.m., Aug. 4, 1961. Critics say the document is not an actual birth certificate. They further claim the document is a fake, even though plenty of independent organizations have seen and held the document and attest to its authenticity.

Islam Must Be Outlawed

Posted in: News,ROP | February 6th, 2010 | No Comments »

From the U.K. Telegraph, another reason why Islam is a menace to civilization:

Medine Memi was found in a sitting position with her hands tied, in a two-metre hole dug under a chicken pen outside her home in Kahta, in the south-eastern province of Adiyaman.

Her father and grandfather have since been arrested and are due to face trial over her death. Her mother was also charged but has since been released.

Medine had first been reported missing 40 days earlier.

The informant told the police she had been killed following a family “council” meeting.

Media reports said the father had told relatives he was unhappy that his daughter – one of nine children – had male friends. The grandfather is said to have beaten her for having relations with the opposite sex.

A postmortem examination revealed large amounts of soil in her lungs and stomach, indicating that she had been alive and conscious while being buried.

“The report is blood curdling. According to our findings the girl who had no bruises on her body and no sign of narcotics or poison in her blood was alive and fully conscious when she was buried,” one official involved in the case told the Times.

It also emerged that Medine had repeatedly tried to report to police that she had been beaten by her father and grandfather days before she was killed. “She tried to take refuge at the police station three times, and she was sent home three times,” her mother, Immihan, said after the body was discovered in December.

Birthers at the Tea Party Convention

Posted in: News,Politics | February 6th, 2010 | 1 Comment »

I tend to agree with Andrew Breitbart that the whole The Obama birth certificate issue is a loony distraction.

But World Net Daily founder Joseph Farah spend about 40 minutes discussing the issue at the Tea Party convention.

From HotAir blog:

Dave Weigel has been covering the Tea Party Convention in Nashville for the Washington Independent, and earlier today walked into an unplanned but heated debate between World Net Daily’s Joseph Farah and Andrew Breitbart. Farah claimed that the Tea Party movement was partially fueled on the notion that Barack Obama isn’t really a native-born citizen of the US. When WND reporter Chelsea Schilling asked Breitbart- to comment on Farah’s speech, he criticized the attack and said the Tea Party movement would do better to focus on substance.

Here’s a link to C-Span’s coverage of Farah’s speech.

Really though, the whole issue would go away if The Obama would just produce the actual document, something he has refused to do.

Snow Blogging III

Posted in: News | February 6th, 2010 | No Comments »

Just got back from walking the dog. Lots of snow piled up on the side of the road. That is, the roads that have been plowed, too many. Saw several people out and about on foot, and even a few fools in cars, most with four-wheel drive.

Although I did see one moron in a small sports car. Don’t expect him/her to get far. Looks like we’re heading for three feet of snow. My yard is easily at 30 inches and in just the time it took to walk down the street and back there was another inch on the front walk.

Here’s a pic of home sweet home (at least until the bank takes it):
